White Sash
Black Belt Trait: Focus
The White Sash is your child’s first step into structured martial arts training. At ages 4–6, learning to focus is a major developmental milestone.
At this stage, we teach children how to stand still, look at the instructor, listen carefully, and respond when called upon. Even holding attention for short periods is a big achievement at this age.
We introduce the idea that focus means “eyes watching, ears listening, body still.” This simple but powerful skill supports school readiness and builds the foundation for all future learning.
