Grade 4 – Developing power

Working towards your grade 4 is about refining what you have learnt so far, the ending of the Phase 1 material with the core focus being at this level to start to add and develop power. Basic stepping, shifting, and turning (Chuen Ma) should be improved. Students learn how to maintain balance and structure while moving into sparring with Coordination between upper and lower body becoming a key focus.
